Please carefully read the following Terms and Conditions before placing an order with Mint Green Penguin Wedding Stationery and Signs. 


Mint Green Penguin Wedding Stationery and Signs is owned by Lemon Feathers Design Studio, therefore billing details will be for Lemon Feathers Design Studio. For the purpose of this contract Mint Green Penguin Wedding Stationery and Signs will just be referred to as Mint Green Penguin.


Mint Green Penguin reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. Any such changes will take effect once posted on the website, and it is your responsibility to read the terms and conditions on each occasion you use this website.


All orders placed with Mint Green Penguin will be subject and in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. We reserve the right to cancel an order at any stage.


These Terms and Conditions apply to any contract between us for the services and goods to you. An agreement of our quote will take place once an order has been placed and a 50% non-refundable deposit has been paid. At this point a contract will come into existence between you and us. If you decline to accept these Terms and Conditions Mint Green Penguin will not be able to fulfil any goods or services to you.



Once the price estimate has been approved Mint Green Penguin will require a 

non-refundable deposit of 50% of the estimated cost prior to any design work being 

under-taken. An invoice will be sent by Mint Green Penguin. The second and final payment will be due on approval of the digital proofs before printing can commence. 

If there is any delay in delivery as a result of late payment, Mint Green Penguin cannot be held responsible.




You will be asked at your initial appointment with Mint Green Penguin, ideally when would you would like to send your stationery out by, we will tell you at your appointment if this is realistic.


Here is a time-scale estimate for your stationery order.


Please allow 2-3 weeks processing time and additional delivery time. Your first proofs will be sent across within 3-5 business days. You will be required to approve proofs/artwork and provide feedback, it is important to inform us if you can not review artwork as this may result in a delay to your order.


Please allow 3-6 weeks processing time and additional delivery time. 


We will initially send you a mood-board to check we have got the look and feel of your wedding right before designing, this will be sent across within 2-3 business days. Followed by your first artwork proofs within 5-10 business days. You will be required to approve proofs/artwork and provide feedback, it is important to inform us if you can not review artwork as this may result in a delay to your order.





Digital proofs and the final artwork are sent via email. Great care is always taken to ensure all information is accurate, however, the client has responsibility to thoroughly check layout, copy, spelling, information and grammar. If designs are approved by the client with type errors and are subsequently printed, Mint Green Penguin take no responsibility and will not be liable for any resulting cost. Any replacements will be charged in full. It is therefore essential to check spelling and wording thoroughly before approving any design.


Please note that the colour that appears on your computer screen will differ from the printed colour. 


We allow for up to three amendments when checking digital proofs in order to ensure timescale is not compromised. There after any further amendments will be charge at 

£20 each.



Minimum Quantity for Orders


There is a minimum order of 30 (per item) due to printer minimum quantities and the time involved in creating the artwork. For bespoke stationery the minimum order is also 30.


It is advisable to order all wedding stationery at the same time to avoid any additional delivery costs and also to factor in when placing your order, a few spares in case of handwritten errors.





Everything will be packaged with the utmost care. Orders will be sent using a tracked delivery service. The cost of UK delivery will be added to the final invoice. 


Mint Green Penguin is not liable for any missing invitations and proof of postage will be obtained where possible.



Any orders cancelled before proofs have been sent to printers will receive payment back in full of any sums paid less the non-refundable deposit. However, once proofs have been approved and sent to print, the full amount will be charged. Mint Green Penguin cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to your order once it has been dispatched.


Mint Green Penguin will not be liable or responsible for any failure to fulfil our obligations under these Terms and Conditions that is caused by an act or event beyond our reasonable control. If such an event occurs we will contact you as soon as possible to notify you and arrange a new time-scale and delivery date.



All stationery artwork, illustrations and designs are copyright of Mint Green Penguin. They may not be reproduced in any form without prior permission from Mint Green Penguin. Any improper or illegal use of the stationery, artwork illustrations or designs will be pursued.


Mint Green Penguin reserves the right to use any stationery created for you to promote products and services. However, we will never share your contact details with third parties.


These Terms and Conditions are between you and Mint Green Penguin. No other person shall have any rights to enforce any of its terms, whether under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 or otherwise.


These Terms and Conditions (and any non-contractual obligations arising out of or in relation to them) shall be governed by English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
